Makes 20 chodes
· 2 cups powdered sugar
· 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
· 1 cup all purpose flour
· ½ cup cane sugar
· 1/2 tsp salt
· 3 large eggs
· 1 tbsp vanilla extract
· 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
· 2.5 oz sliced almonds, toasted
· 1 cup mini marshmallows
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, and line two sheet pans with parchment paper.
Start this ode to the chode by sifting together the powdered sugar, flour and cocoa powder. Work those forearm muscles and whisk in the cane sugar, salt and vanilla until combined. Fold in your nuts and chocolate chips and let your dough chill in the fridge for 15 minutes.
Once it’s nice and firm (just how we like it), pull it out and start to form your chodes. Using a spoon, scoop the dough onto your parchment paper - approximately one teaspoon for each ball and one tablespoon for the shaft.
To make these stubbies extra chubby top them 4-5 marshmallows each. Bake for 12-13 minutes until the marshmallows are nice n' golden brown. Let them set for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
Take these chodes on the road to your family's holiday party to offend your least favorite aunt or uncle.
