Dark Chocolate Cock Pops

Makes 20-24 cock pops

Ingredients:

· 1 box chocolate cake mix, prepared according to box

· ½ cup store-bought chocolate frosting

· 10 ounces chocolate chips

· 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

· 24 Lollipop sticks

· Assorted sprinkles

 

Directions:

Place cake in a large bowl and crumble until it resembles fine crumbs. Add in frosting a little bit at a time, using your hands to gently massage the frosting into the cake crumbs. Mix until cake is moist and can hold a ball shape, yet still slightly crumbly.

Use a teaspoon to scoop up the dough and roll the mixture into balls and shafts with your palms. Once all shapes have been rolled, take two balls and one shaft and use your finger to smush them together to form the perfect peen (thick? long? girthy? It's up to you because you are the queen of these peens).

Place finished peens on a baking sheet and set aside. Insert one lollipop stick into the balls side of each cock pop about half-way. Pop into the freezer for 20 minutes to harden.

Melt the butter and chocolate together over a double boiler or in the microwave. Make sure your pool of chocolate is deep enough to completely submerge the cock pop.

Remove cock pops from freezer and dip carefully into the chocolate until covered. Let the excess chocolate drip off. Swirl and tap gently if needed. Add the sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet. It will harden faster than your high school boyfriend on prom night.
